cs2003 A collection of compilers for programming languages of a bygone era, for Windows/MS-DOS
This CD will be of interest to old time programmers who probably still have programs lying around in some of these languages. I have searched the Web for free, public domain, and public license compilers and put some of them on CD. You will need one of the commonly available unzip utilities, such as PKUNZIP or WinZip.
The various packages are at different levels of maturity and completeness, and I cannot certify that they are all worthwhile for any particular purpose. However, some of them, at least, are very good indeed. In addition to the software, I have included documentation, where possible, and HTML pages linking to a wealth of online resources.
Some of the sources I used:
http://www.idiom.com/free-compilers/
http://www.virtualave.net/, which seems to be no longer active
http://www.scriptol.org/choose.php
http://www.bloodshed.net/compilers/index.html
http://www.thefreecountry.com/
and others
